Copyright Your Artwork Now!

You've put your time and effort into your art, make sure you protect yourself. A copyright is the only way to ensure that you are legally recognized as the artist and owner of your artwork.

You do not have true copyright protection unless you copyright your artwork with the federal government - like Register My Copyright does for you.

For a work with only one artist and the artist is the only owner of the work, the cost of copyrighting a piece of artwork is $98 ($63 plus the government filing fee of $35).
If there is more than one artist or the artist is different from the owner, the cost of copyrighting a piece of artwork is $118 ($83 plus the government filing fee of $35).
