What to Send Register My Copyright
What you need to send us once you
decide to register your copyright:
- 2 "best version" copies of your work, to be deposited
with the government. If your work is unpublished (not
publicly available), you need
only send one copy, except for music which you should still send
two copies. We suggest sending an additional work in order
to allow Register My Copyright to present this as evidence should
the need arise.
- Once payment is made at Register My
Copyright Now!, you will be sent to a web page asking for all
of the necessary information to process your application. You may
also proceed by sending a check or money order with your work
(please be sure to let us know that you are sending in your work
from the Contact
page).
